What Is Cellulite?
Cellulite is a change in the top level surface of the skin. This is evident by skin dimpling and mostly effects women. We officially first heard about it from a book as late in the 1920’s. It didn’t really get any coverage after that as the world was at war and there were more important things going on. It is thought to effect nearly 90% of all women over the age of 18. This can be present on the lower limbs, abdomen and the pelvic area. It can also be present in men and as the obesity rate keeps rising so does the amount of men effected.
The Causes Of Cellulite
The actual cause is still not understood and it can come from several different sources. Hormones have been shown to play a part in the development.
